Content Policy and Player Age

Hi chat, as you may be aware, there's a bunch of things happening with Age Verification and policing (spicy) content online.

WaifuGame is not immune to that, so soon we'll also make some changes as well. We're trusting Discord's age verification on that, since they're quite strict. If Discord thinks you're 18+ then we'll copy that. No additional verification needed.

Card Storage Limit announcement

Hi chat, until now, Card Storage Boxes didn’t really have limits. We’re changing that so we can introduce Card Storage Upgrades.

Here’s how it will work:

• Your Trade Portfolio is still limited by Card Portfolio upgrades. (Hard capped at 2,500 cards)
• Each Storage Box (Box 1, Box 2, Box 3) now starts with a limit of 250 cards.
• You can increase the limit by 250 extra slots each time you buy a Storage Upgrade for 50,000 GamerGold (GG).

Special rule for existing players

• If you already have more cards in a Storage Box than the new limit allows, you’ll get a discounted upgrade (80% off) to catch up.
• The upgrade cost will depend on how many extra slots you need so your cards can fit properly.

How to Upgrade

(This change will go in effect later this week around 19 September 2025)

1. Go to your Cards page and select a Storage Box (Box 1, 2, or 3).
2. You’ll see the current box limit displayed under “Deb Charms available,” along with an Upgrade button.
3. Clicking Upgrade will let you buy as many upgrades as you want (each adds 250 slots).

Updates

Hi chat, some smaller (but overdue) updates

• Card Search has been made slightly faster by changing the search technology (finally no longer using Bing but Yahoo)

• "Use Many" has been updated: now usable for Booster Packs/Wish Packs, BShard Bundles, stat boosters, gifted subs and T3 pass.

• Wish Boosters are enabled again (should be fixed now)

• Patreon Resubs now get a monthly Shard gift every resub (20% of Patron value)

• /wgsetup can now finally be used to actually move the WG channel (no longer need to kick and reinvite)

• (Staff can now manage the tag/rating list)

• (Waifu Chat is still WIP but it'll be quite exciting once it comes out)

Myfu "Avatar" Images 🎉

Hello Chat,

You can now set a specific card of your myfu as the avatar of said myfu.

What?

Normally, your Myfu’s image changes every day (to a random Mythic card). But sometimes you find that one perfect picture and think, “I wish it could always be this one.” Well, now you can! Just open the Card Details and hit the new "Set as Myfu Avatar" button. (Works for any card up to Ecchi.)
